    
What is an LSV (low speed vehicle)?
An LSV is
a vehicle capable of speeds up to 25 mph and can operate legally in
most states on roads with
speed limits up to 35 mph. Low Speed Vehicles
generally must
have
seat belts, lighting, special windshields, along with
other
safety equipment. Drivers must be licensed and comply
with all state and local rules for automobiles. Low Speed Vehicles are
sometimes referred to as neighborhood electric vehicles or NEVs.
